At SWM-Wood, we’re all about building strong partnerships! Our dedicated team works closely with our customers to create long-term relationships.
Our expertise lies in effectively drying and heat-treating wood to ensure consistent, high-quality results. We focus on thermally modifying spruce and pine up to the thickness of 50 mm.
Our priority is to maintain the standards of our Thermowood® services by carefully controlling the heat-treatment process parameters. We pay special attention to air circulation and the proper use of steam to achieve a consistent and successful heat-treatment grade every time.
Primarily, we offer our Thermowood® services to the wood trade, wood product industry, and sawmilling industry. The minimum quantity for a service order is 50 m3.
Our team of 23 dedicated professionals ensures that your product is always top-notch and delivered right on schedule. With a yearly production capacity of 40,000 m3 and a total of 5 Thermowood® kilns, we are fully equipped to meet your needs.
ThermoWood® stands out as a natural material that undergoes a heat and steam process, without the use of chemicals. The process is patented and annually audited to produce trademarked ThermoWood® products.
The International Thermowood Association (ITWA) supervises the production and quality control processes of member companies, with an independent third party, Finotrol Oy, conducting the supervision.
